Works from CALL5 in collection Museum

At the openingsnight of the exhibition ‘Through Dutch Eyes Only’ / ‘Sólo a través de ojos holandeses’ the four artists of CALL5 presented indivual works to Joan Cadena, counsellor culture for El Castell de Guadalest. The four works wil become part of the permanent collection of Museo Casa Orduña in Guadalest in Spain.

The stop motion animationfilm ‘Early Wish (not a ballerina)’ was produced together with the Dutch co-director and animator Jasper Kuipers. The oneminute film expresses a childhood wish that seems to become fulfilled.
The film is connected to my installation ’30 Days and More’ that is to be seen in Guadalest in Spain.

Looking forward to the exhibiton of CALL5 in Spain. Museo Casa Orduña Guadalest. Spain. Photography and spatial art.  October 2016 – Januari 2017.

The manifest and subconscious motivation of people in relationship to their world provides a contiguous field of interest for Van Oordt. Is it possible to depict the adjacency of the outer facades and visualize them? In her photography and three‐dimensional works, the artist endeavours to evoke a sense of poetry, to entice the viewers’ imagination, and to precipitously confront their sensitivity with new concepts.
